Just Dogs expands its retail network, aims to reach 150 stores by 2025

New Delhi: Just Dogs, an omnichannel pet care retailer and service provider, has expanded its presence in South India with its 45th store launch in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

The pet care retailer said it has doubled its number of retail stores over last one year and is now catering to over two million pet parents across the country.

Recently, it has also opened its stores in Nagpur and New Delhi to consolidate its expansion in Maharashtra and North India. The brand also has a strong base of audiences in the online space through its e-commerce platform and newly launched mobile app.

The pet care market in India has witnessed rapid growth over the past few years and is expected to reach Rs 210,000 crore by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 19.2 per cent from 2022 to 2032. So, the brand plans to expand its retail presence to 150 stores across the country by 2025. Further, it aims to touch Rs 1,000 crore revenue with an equitable distribution of business from online and offline channels.

Speaking about the brand’s steady growth trajectory, Ashish Anthony, co-founder of the company said, “Since our first store in Ahmedabad in 2011, we have envisioned a pan India expansion for JustDogs. Through the years, a major consideration for the brand is to be hyper local by expanding our retail presence to tier 2 and tier 3 cities along with the metros.”

Further, the company plans to extend product lines in existing home brands of food, training, grooming & hygiene products and increase its product portfolio to include fashion apparel and medically prescribed products.

In the upcoming year, the pet care retailer also plans to open more stores in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.
